The anointing from the morning service is still flowing from the belly of the church sanctuary after both Sunday morning services.
The guest speaker was Pastor Van Moody who talked about the “People Factor.” His presentation was a bit different with Pastor Lance D. Watson, senior pastor of St. Paul’s Baptist Church conducting a sort of Q & A session. However, Pastor Moody’s response was powerful from a pastoral stand point to a congregation that couldn’t get enough.
Following the 9am and 11am Sunday morning service, Pastor Watson shared an amazing and powerful testimony about a recent diagnosis of Prostate Cancer that was found in his body, BUT also shared that ALL of the Cancer has been successfully removed after surgery about three weeks ago.
While only a hand full of people knew about his personal challenge, not including his family, as he began to tell his story and concluded on a victorious note and thank God for being with him during the entire process, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
After the 11am service First Lady Rose Watson shared her heart and emotions through song and blessed several hundred that stayed behind to just Praise and Worship with her and the youth choir.
Simply… St. Paul’s Baptist Church will never be the same again!
