Eddie Murphy will soon be able to add the Mark Twain Prize to his list of achievements.
The comedian will be honored at the 18th Annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on October 18 in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. The prize is awarded annually to a comedian who has made an impact on American society.
Murphy released a statement, “I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from the Kennedy Center and to join the distinguished list of past recipients of this award.”
