The View is causing a stir again, but this time it’s not something Raven Symone said. Whoopi Goldberg made some comments about breastfeeding during their “Hot Topics” segment, that upset mothers everywhere.
Co-nursing is when one mother feeds another mother’s child, with the purpose to help keep milk supply up. This sparked quite the debate between the ladies at the table. Whoopi commented on how long she thinks mothers should breastfeed their child saying, “If they’re old enough to have teeth, they shouldn’t be breastfeeding. Good god.”
A Facebook group called “Breastfeeding Mama Talk” posted the clip on their page that has gained attention of many mothers. One mother commented, “My daughter was only 7 weeks old when she cut her first tooth, no way I was done breastfeeding!”
