Losing My Religion certainly hasn’t been losing any steam on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.

The newest offering from Grammy Award-winning musician and composer, Kirk Franklin, spends its second consecutive week at No.1.

“Wanna Be Happy?” the hit single from the 45-year-old’s 11th LP, currently sits atop Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart, with a second single, “123 Victory,” making gains at No. 12.

It’s a promising sign for the musical veteran who admittedly worried that he would be unable to follow up on the success of 2011’s Hello Fear, which spawned the massive hit, “I Smile.”

It appears that all Franklin’s worries were unfounded.

Another notable release, LED, comes from Stellar Award-winning gospel artist Kierra Sheard, which debuted at No. 3 on this week’s chart with minimal promotion and little advance notice of its release.
