Urban Gospel Trio VIRTUE’S “WALK IT OUT” Single
Cracks Top 30 On the Mediabase Gospel Airplay Chart This Week
Tuesday, January 26, 2016 — Urban Gospel Sister trio Virtue’s (Karima Kibble, Heather Martin, and Ebony Holland) pulsating workout anthem “Walk It Out” (produced by Alvin Garrett and David and Gerald Langford of Tag Team Entertainment) from their forthcoming 7th studio album FEARLESS (Mixed Bag Entertainment) hits Top 30 on the Mediabase Gospel Airplay chart this week landing at #29. This marks the group’s second consecutive Top 30 radio single with their first single “You Are” (lifted from their reissued Testimony Reloaded album) peaking at #17 on the gospel radio charts in 2015. “Walk It Out” is also currently being played at Starbucks stores across the country.
Virtue is preparing to release their 2nd official single “Miracle” (made famous by The Clark Sisters) this month to Gospel radio and various radio stations have already committed to adding the single in rotation including: WHAL (Memphis, TN); WOAD (Jackson, MS); WHLH (Jackson, MS); WNAP (Philadelphia, PA); WEXL (Detroit, MI); KPZK (Little Rock, AR); KHVN (Dallas, TX); KTSU (Houston, TX); and Rejoice Musical Soul Food (Syndicated).
The group’s forthcoming 16-track collection boast production by super producers Fred Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston), Mark Kibble (Take 6, BeBe & CeCe Winans), Asaph Ward (The Clark Sisters, Mary J Blige), and Alvin Garrett (Joe, Ruben Studdard) to name a few.
FEARLESS is available for pre-order now via iTunes. Fans that pre-order prior to the official street date will receive three instant grat tracks: the uplifting Top 20 single “You Are,” the title-track “Fearless” featuring RCA Records rapper Dee-1 and the Top 30 single “Walk It Out”.
