Malachi Love-Robinson, the 18-year-old man from West Palm Beach that was arrested a few weeks ago for pretending to be a doctor, has been arrested again.  Love-Robinson was arrested for allegedly stealing over $34,000 from one of his elderly patients.

Love-Robinson’s “New Birth New Life Holistic and Alternative Medical Center & Urgent Care” practice was shut down after he performed a medical examination on an under cover police officer.  Things have continued to get worse for Love-Robinson, as just a week ago, a car dealership has decided to sue him for writing a bad check.  The dealership is seeking $7,200 in damages for unpaid interest.

On Tuesday, Love-Robinson was arrested in Palm Beach on charges that he stole $34,504 from an elderly woman he was allegedly treating during home visits.  Yesterday, Love Robinson was released, and a Palm Beach County Judge ordered him to complete psychiatric testing within 48 hours of his release.  He faces five counts of using another person’s identity without their consent, as well as one count of larceny.

These current run-ins with the law are not Love-Robinson’s first.  A year ago, he was spotted at  St. Mary’s Medical Center walking the halls wearing a white coat and a stethoscope.  It was also reported that Love-Robinson was issued a cease-and-desist order back in October after allegedly operating a previous fake practice near Boynton Beach.

Inside Edition spoke with Love-Robinson and he denied any wrong doing, and said he never claimed to be a medical doctor.  You can read more on the story here.
