Kerry Washington appears on the cover of Adweek; however, the photo doesn’t look like the Kerry Washington we all know and love. The cover photo has clearly been altered, and Washington took to Instagram yesterday to address the photoshopped photo.
Washington stated, “I just felt weary. It felt strange to look at a picture of myself that is so different from what I look like when I look in the mirror. It’s an unfortunate feeling.” James Cooper, editorial director of Adweek told EntertainmentTonight, “To clarify, we made minimal adjustments, solely for the cover’s design needs. We meant no disrespect, quite the opposite.”
