Star of The Wire, Wendell Pierce, was arrested this weekend on charges of battery after allegedly becoming physical with a Bernie Sanders supporter.
Reports claim that 52-year-old Pierce was speaking to a couple about politics at a hotel bar, and things turned physical when it came out the couple were in support of Bernie Sanders and not Hillary Clinton.
Reports state that Pierce was arrested and charged with battery, and released the same day on a $1,000 bond. You can read more on the story here.
