LeBron James recently signed a three year $100 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. What is one of the first things you would do, if you had that kind of money? Well, if you’re LeBron James, then you would take 5,000 kids to Cedar Point.
Apparently the trip was all part of James’ Wheels for Education program and the Akron I Promise Network. The kids and their families enjoyed a day at the popular Ohio amusement park, and they could also attend a talk by James.
James’ programs encourage kids to stay in school. If they continue to work hard and plan to go to college, he will provide them with a full ride scholarship to the University of Akron.
James is proving that he is the epitome of sportsmanship, both on and off the court. Read more on the story here.
