GRAMMY® Award-nominated gospel singer Tamela Mann is celebrating after learning her new albumOne Way has hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.

The Texas-born singer, 50, wrote “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” to Facebook fans and used the angel Emoji to communicate that she is “feeling blessed.”

Her fourth album, One Way, is the follow-up to her hugely successful 2012 release Best Days, which spawned the mega hit “Take Me To The King.”

Now the popular songstress, who got her start with Kirk Franklin and the Family in the, 90s is enjoying success in music as well as television. She stars alongside her husband David Mann on the couple’s BET reality show “It’s A Mann’s World” and Bounce TV’s “Mann & Wife.”

“Even after I hear myself on the radio or see myself on TV, I’m still in awe, believe it or not,” Mann toldDetroit News in a recent interview. “I feel like little ol’ me — the youngest of 14 — that God has opened doors for me.”

The southerner’s humility despite her overwhelming success is what continues to catapult her career and ministry to even higher heights.
