Longtime pastor of Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church, Bishop Norman L. Wagner, died yesterday, Saturday, at the age of 68 at his native town Youngstown leaving behind his wife—Dr. Rita Helen—two daughters and a granddaughter. He was former leader of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. He studied from Aenon Bible College of Columbus and Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis. He got bachelors and master’s degrees in theology from these above mentioned educational institutes.

In 1971, when he was installed as pastor of Mount Calvary, he started Calvary Christian Academy for senior citizens and wrote many books.

However in 2001, Calvary Christians Academy came to an end and Wagner established a charter school named Legacy Academy for Leaders and Arts and remained the chairman of that school till his death yesterday.
