Nashville, TN – Gospel Music Legend, Shirley Caesar, prepares for a busy spring with several major press appearance and live concerts.
The music icon will be featured this Sunday March 28th on Gospel Music Channel’s new series “BEST OF THE STELLARS.” The one-hour episode will showcase all of Shirley Caesar’s best Stellar Awardd performances. “BEST OF THE STELLARS” airs Sundays at 9:00pm on Gospel Music Channel. Shirley Caesar will be featured in the April 5th JET Magazine, with Academy Award winner Mo’Nique on the cover.
Caesar shares her reflections on 40 years of Music as well as the launch of her new on-line talent contest I GOT NEXX. The unique contest gives aspiring artists have the chance to upload performance videos to the website, then every month Pastor Caesar & her team at Shu-Bel Entertainment pick 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Also, Caesar just completed her new music video for the poignant and moving ballad “Playground In Heaven,” off her current hit CD, A CITY CALLED HEAVEN. The video is set to premiere on BET’s Video Gospel in April as well as new upcoming “LIFT EVERY VOICE” interview this Summer.
Caesar also has a full plate of performances scheduled including taping the Mo’Nique Show on April 8th and a live performance on GOOD DAY ATLANTA on April 9th.
Upcoming concerts include “A Night of Inspiration” at the historic Carnegie Hall in New York on April 28th and a performance at the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Mother’s Day Celebration on May 9th in Baltimore, MD.
