Words of the day: Experience His Joy
God created us with the ability to laugh, so we must need to laugh. The Word says, “A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing” (Prov. 12:22). Jesus said that His joy would be in us that we may experience His delight; He wants to fill our hearts with His gladness (see John 17:13). Jesus wants us to experience His joy, not just preach about it, or read books about it. He wants us to experience His joy. Joy greatly depends on how you view life. So if you need help getting your sense of humor back, ask God to show you the lighter side of life today. Don’t hesitate to laugh when you suddenly feel joyful; you will quickly find that joy is very contagious.
