Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi has filed a fourteen count criminal complaint against the alleged shooter of nine persons during the Black Expo downtown July 18th. In a Probable Cause affidavit filed today (July 26th), prosecutors charged Shamus  Patton with fourteen counts of battery, aggravated battery, criminal recklessness, carrying a handgun without a permit, dangerous possession of a firearm and criminal gang activity. The last charge allowed prosecutors to charge Patton as an adult.  In a preliminary hearing, a court ordered Patton held on $250,000 bond.  Patton’s attorney asked for a gag order against prosecutors talking about the case.
