It’s now October, and that means finding the perfect Halloween costumes for your children.  Retail Chain, Party City, has come under fire after a Mom wrote an open letter about the little girls costumes they offered being too sexy.  Mother, Lin Kramer, took to Facebook asking Party City to reconsider some of the costumes they are selling for little girls.  Lin states in her post, “If the nature of my concern is not already abundantly clear, please now take the opportunity to compare the girl costume representing the occupation of a police officer to the same occupation costumes marketed for boys…Generally speaking, real life uniformed female police officers do not wear short skirts and low cut shirts, but instead wear exactly the same slacks and shirts as their male counterparts.”

Party City has apparently deleted Kramer’s post and blocked her from ever posting on their page again.  They have also said that they stand by their products.  Would you buy these costumes for your child?  You can read more on the story and view the controversial costumes here.
