Each year it seems like we get just as excited to watch the commercials as we do to watch the actual game.  The Super Bowl rakes in around 115 million viewers each year, and that means it’s prime time for companies to advertise.  Companies shell out loads of money for add space during the Super Bowl, paying up to $5 million dollars for 30 seconds.  Below are a few of the advertising hits and misses from last night:

Hit:  Kevin Hart playing an over protective father in Hyundai ad

Hit:  Mini USA’s “#DefyLabels” ad featuring Serena Williams

Hit:  NFL “Super Bowl Babies” ad featuring Seal

Hit:  T-Mobile “Drop The Balls” featuring Steve Harvey poking fun at his Miss Universe mix up.

Hit:  Doritos’ “Doritos Dogs”

Hit/Miss:  Doritos’ “Ultrasound” ad had mixed reviews from viewers.

Miss:  Mountain Dew Kickstart’s “Puppymonkeybaby”  It seems the internet unanimously thought this ad was terrifying.
