The Indy Eleven has released plans for a new $82 million multi-use stadium in downtown Indy. The city’s soccer team has been playing games at IUPUI’s Carroll Stadium since they debuted last year, but they unveiled their plans for new digs of their own on Wednesday. Team officials say the new stadium could also be used for football, lacrosse, field hockey, concerts and marching band competitions. They plan to pay for it by taxing only the people who use it through tickets, concessions stands and apparel.
