Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/ Nae Nae)” was able to help diffuse a confrontation between two groups of high school girls in D.C.  A police officer, who wishes to remain anonymous at the moment, pulled up and asked the teens who were arguing to leave the area.  That’s when Aaliyah Taylor spoke up and challenged the officer to a dance off.

The stipulations were if Taylor won the teens could stay, if the officer won then they would leave the area.  The two danced to “Watch Me (Whip/ Nae Nae)” and showed off their very best moves in what was a pretty epic dance off.  Taylor commented on the situation stating, “No one was worried about the argument anymore.  The neighborhood was getting crowded…the attention was on us.  Everyone was just looking at us.”

At the end of the video, it appears that Taylor says she won, right before the video gets cut off.  Taylor later said that she thinks it was actually a tie, and that she was pretty impressed with the officer’s dance moves.  Taylor commented, “There are good cops and bad cops, and I don’t think all cops are bad, but I never thought I’d dance with a cop.  I didn’t even know cops could be that fun.”
