Raven-Symoné is set to leave The View to go back to work for the Disney Channel. Yep, the Disney Channel is currently working on developing a spinoff of her comedy, That’s So Raven.
Symoné is set to move to LA to executive produce and star in the revival spinoff. She will return as her character named Raven Baxter. That’s So Raven aired on the Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007. The new series has yet to be named, and it will be centered around Symoné who will play a divorced mother of two.
The View hasn’t said if it will replace Symoné as of yet. The daytime talk show is currently rotating between 7 other co-hosts.
The exit comes a year after, thousands signed a petition to have Symoné removed from The View. There is no word yet on when Symoné’s spinoff will air. Read more on the story here.
